Job Description
Our client is based in Boston, MA and currently has an opening for a Direct Endorsement Underwriter.
Successful candidate should have a minimum of 5 years DE Underwriting experience. As an Underwriter, you will be responsible for rendering final loan decisions. The successful candidate will understand and apply underwriting guidelines to ensure loans comply with investor and regulatory requirements.
Position requires:
Must possess a minimum of 5 years experience in underwriting FHA/VA, Conventional, RD, Reverse and Jumbo loans.
Thorough understanding and strong working knowledge of FHA manual underwriting guidelines.
Knowledge of DU and LP
Experience in assessing risk when underwriting files
Service oriented with great personality
Assisting with processing
Working with Processors and Loan Officers
