Job Description
Kondaur Capital Corporation, the Nation’s premier purchaser of distressed residential mortgage loans, is looking to expand and take advantage of its ability to source and originate FHA loans.
This position requires high energy, very high attention to detail, strong work ethic, solid technical aptitude, and a strong sense of personal accountability, responsibility and achievement.
Responsibilities:
• Participate in the underwriting, condition review/clearance and approval of residential mortgage refinance and purchase loans.
• Direct contact with Realtors, Loan Officers and Asset Managers.
• Develop a thorough understanding of Asset Management and its functions, processes and operations.
• Staying up to date on changes to FHA rules and guidelines.
• Perform other related assignments / projects as requested by Management.
• Internal contact with other departments and external contact with service providers.
NOTES: Local Residents Preferred (No Relo)
Requirements
• 10 + years Residential Mortgage underwriting experience.
• Most recent 3 years must have been spent underwriting FHA or managing those in such capacity.
• Direct Endorsement (DE) number required.
• Solid organizational skills and ability to multi-task. • Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work as part of a team.
• Proactive thinking with detail-oriented and creative problem solving approach.
• Ability to work creatively and proactively with minimal supervision.
• Ability to manage a workload that will most likely include extensive hours and weekends.
