FHA DE/ VA LAPP Underwriter positions available.
A 23 year-old, growing, stable company offering conventional and FHA home loan services. The strength and stability the company has allows for an extensive product line with mortgage programs to suit virtually any need. Furthermore, access to a wide variety of secondary market investors guarantees the flexibility and resources to provide the best array of products in the market at competitive rates. You will underwrite and review submitted files to analyze for Capacity, Capital, Character and Condition. This includes ensuring that loan requests meet program and product specifications or counteroffer to a different product and/or program when appropriate. In addition, you will communicate decision (approval, suspense, denial) to appropriate individuals.

Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of recent full time underwriting experience
A commitment to professionalism
Solid understanding of today’s mortgage market
A minimum of 2-3 recent years of full time underwriting experience
Demonstrated leadership skills
Great organizational and problem solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A great eye for detail while still being able to maintain great time management
VA/LAPP experience a plus
