Job Description:
Evaluate loan files for acceptability with company guidelines, agency regulations or government guidelines. Must be FHA DE approved. VA LAPP a plus.
Community First Bank is growing through a strategy of opening branch mortgage origination offices throughout the country. We have built a very solid business with FHA and FNMA mortgages and we are now looking for the right underwriter to help us continue our growth.
There is strong management in place and a bank that is committed to lending and growing during these uncertain economic times.
The ideal candidate is willing to work hard, share his/her knowledge and experience as an FHA underwriter to assist us refining our lending guidelines and credit policies and educating our branches and loan officers on the best way to originate and fund quality mortgages.
Any VA and Conforming experience is a plus.
Skills:
Detail oriented. Must be able to work in a production oriented environment but still maintain high standards of accuracy.
